Strangely enough, we're holding pretty steady here. I've noticed that groceries are more, but I buy more store brands and check sales. So we've kept a lid on it there. As it gets warmer, more things are w/in walking distance, so that helps keep a lid on the gas expense. As summer approaches, we'll stop almost all of our activities, so that saves too. So far, I can't complain really.

Thanks for posting the Day in the Life a few days ago. I'm not up to speed on what TOG is -- catch me up???? I've seen this before, but can't figure it out yet.

We are at $1.18 a litre which is about $4.72 a gallon. Insane, made even more so by the fact that we are in Alberta, oil country in Canada. I find I too am planning my outings as best as possible. With teens though and the places they need to be it gets quite complicated. Bottom line, I just have to trust God that He will provide no matter how expensive gas gets.

OH YES ... definitely feeling it! Thankfully all week we have held steady at $3.49, but ealier last week we were at $3.19.

We have already downsized my husband's car, but mine is a necessity. Our spending is really being looked at (ouch).
