What's your superpower? or my disfunctional relationship with the library... as a homeschool mom I am at the library weekly. To complicate my life, we are at 2 libraries, weekly. One library has a good collection of children's dvds, videos and books on tape. The other library is connected to all the county libraries and is user friendly for looking up books online and having them held. However, their media collection is..scary (as in I am afraid to put that in my video player/cassette player, it is grimy looking). So, somehow I am always driving to the library/at the library/or searching the house looking for books to return to the library. Because I am always on the quest for a simplified life(ha!)- I have multiple due dates on multiple books from two libraries. (I am a victim of irony or bad karma) And, I always owe fines- despite this age of being able to renew online.
So, here is the count this week- a relatively quiet week as far as the library basket goes...we went on vacation so I returned/renewed things to try to beat the dreaded overdue fine.
Library A : 9 books checked out, 2 dvds. 0 fines
Library B : 27 books checked out, 2 overdue $3.00 in fines

actually not bad. So, I am going to Library B tonight...
I need a shirt that says "I manage 50 books from 2 libraries with different due dates....what's your superpower??"
